WHO is this for?
Bethesda’s Regional Adult Respite Services…

offer a variety of respite services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 3 to 17 including who live at home with their family and are not eligible to receive respite services from their local agency. This service is accessible to individuals living in the Niagara Region.

WHAT is offered?
Bethesda’s Regional Adult Respite Services…

…Bethesda’s Regional Adult Respite Services offers weekend activity-based respite in a four-bedroom home setting. Participants enjoy a variety of recreational opportunities including crafts, games, music, picnics, swimming, bowling etc. based on the individual’s interests, strengths, and needs.

During the summer months, respite services are offered during the week and individuals may utilize this service for up to two weeks. Special conditions apply. Space is limited for weekend and summer respite, so advance planning is essential and regularly planned respite care is recommended.
