Bethesda is a non-profit charitable Christian organization committed to supporting people in the Spirit of Christ. We strive to employ caring, competent individuals who share our philosophy and values and are committed to carrying out our Mission and Vision statements.

Our greatest assets are our clients and the staff who support them. We presently employ over 400 full and part time employees and offer a wide range of career opportunities. Volunteer Opportunities- Your gift of time and skills is the key to our success.

Volunteering at Bethesda: As a volunteer, you will have a chance to make a difference in someone’s life, be an important part of our dynamic team, share your experience, use your skills or learn ones, and develop lasting friendships.

What can you do as a volunteer?

As a volunteer you can offer your time and talents by:
  • Being a friendly visitor
  • Helping with a support group
  • Enjoying walks in the neighborhood
  • Joining in shopping and coffee outings
  • Assisting with drama or music programs

Volunteer Screening Process

The screening process is to ensure that the right match is made between the work to be done and person who could do it. The steps that are most important in determining the suitability of a candidate are interviews, reference checks, and a police record check.
