BETHESDA’S CHILDREN’S SERVICES
Bethesda continues to strive to provide effective, relevant services in a professional, caring manner to individuals with special needs from infancy to adulthood. For children living in the Niagara Region who are under 18 years of age we offer: AUTISM CONSULTATION SERVICES provides consultation, support, and education to families and support staff of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER TRANSITION PROGRAM provides support to youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder who are transitioning into adolescence and secondary school. CHILDREN’S BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT SERVICES provides behavioural consultation, education and support to children with a developmental disability and their families and support staff. CHILDREN’S DEVELOPMENTAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES uses a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment for children for whom a developmental disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder is suspected or has been confirmed. RESPITE SERVICES Respite Services offers a variety of respite services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 3 to 17 including after-school, preschool, Saturday programs, summer camp, and in-home respite support. HAMILTON-NIAGARA REGIONAL AUTISM INTERVENTION PROGRAM provides Intensive Behaviour Intervention (IBI) services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder to improve their ability to function and participate in their community.
