WHO is this for?
Bethesda's Children’s Developmental Assessment Services
…are for children under the age of 18 who reside in the Niagara Region for whom a diagnosis of developmental disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder is suspected.

WHAT is provided?
Bethesda's Children's Developmental Assessment Services…
… is an interdisciplinary team comprised of a developmental pediatrician, psychologist, psychometrist, autism resource consultant, occupational therapist, and speech-language pathologist. The team will provide a comprehensive assessment looking at the nature, extent and, where possible, the cause of the developmental delay.
The team will generally look at the developmental/medical history, the profile of cognitive/motor abilities, emotional development, and adaptive skills. We seek to provide a supportive service as we work with the child, families, and others involved in their care.

Bethesda Children’s Developmental Assessment Services also provides training and education through a variety of workshops and seminars based on the needs expressed by the community.
