Regional Respite Program

Regional Respite Programs - Supporting Families through Flexible, Personalized Respite Care

Bethesda’s Regional Respite Program provides short-term, temporary care for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who live at home with their families. The program is designed to give families a break from caregiving while offering participants engaging, individualized experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Shaped by feedback from families, the Regional Respite Program now offers more flexible, personalized, and community-integrated options to better meet diverse needs.

For upcoming Respite Events open for registration, please visit our Adult Services Events Page.

Commitment to Quality Care

A dedicated full-time Respite Supervisor ensures consistent, high-quality support and staffing continuity across all respite options, giving family’s peace of mind and participants a positive, reliable experience.
