Celebrating 25 years of community, connection, and care

Recognizing the stories, partnerships and acts of compassion that have supported children, youth, and families for 25 years.

25 Acts of Compassion & Collaboration

For 25 years, Bethesda's Children and Youth Services team has had the privilege of supporting children, youth, families, and caregivers across Niagara.

As we celebrate this milestone, we want to recognize the people, partnerships and everyday acts of kindness that help build a stronger, more caring community.

We invite you to share stories of compassion and collaboration that made a meaningful difference in the lives of children, youth, and families. Whether it's a neighbour lending a hand, a teacher going above and beyond, a young person showing leadership, or organizations working together to support others, these moments deserve to be celebrated.

Twenty-five stories will be selected to help commemorate 25 years of Children and Youth Services and will be recognized during Bethesda's 25th Anniversary Open House on October 1, 2026.

Together, let's celebrate the people who make Niagara a more compassionate and connected community.

Compassion and Collaboration in Action

We're looking for stories that reflect Bethesda's values of compassion and collaboration in action. Your story might be about:

Someone who supported a child, youth or family during a difficult time.

A young person who demonstrated kindness, leadership or inclusion.

A business that created welcoming and inclusive opportunities.

A teacher, coach or mentor who made a lasting impact.

Volunteers who consistently go above and beyond.

Community partners who worked together to improve outcomes for children and families.

An everyday act of kindness that made a meaningful difference.

“ No act is too small. Sometimes the simplest gestures have the greatest impact.”
